Led the architecture and development of a cloud-native analytics and application platform, combining Python, APIs, AWS serverless technologies, microservices and data engineering.

Selected work

• Technical leadership and team development: Built the data function from the ground up, hiring and developing a mid-level Data Engineer and a Data Scientist, and providing technical leadership, coaching and mentoring.
• Serverless data pipelines: Implemented cloud-native ETL pipelines and a Data Analytics and Insights platform using AWS services and Apache Airflow orchestration.
• Data integrations and APIs: Designed Python/FastAPI microservices and REST APIs for external financial-data providers and brokers, deployed through Docker/Kubernetes and AWS Lambda/API Gateway.
• Analytics and Insights: Built a framework for faster delivery of Python analytics across equities, FX and fund/ETF asset classes for multi-asset portfolios, including cryptocurrencies.
