Lunate is a partner-led, independent global investment firm with more than US$115 billion in assets under management. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, it serves institutions, family offices and corporates across private markets and the broader asset-management spectrum.
The firm invests across asset classes and geographies through commingled funds, customised portfolios and separately managed accounts, with activity spanning private equity, venture capital, credit, real assets and public markets. Lunate also offers conventional and thematic ETFs, defined-benefit solutions through Ghaf Benefits, and wealth-management services.
Launched in September 2023, Lunate established Alterra, a private climate investment vehicle, and Axight, which focuses on mid-market opportunities in Asia Pacific. In January 2026, Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi was appointed Executive Chairman and Managing Partner.
